C1.0 Series Coalescer Filter Cartridge (Gas Coalescer)

Coalescer cartridge is made from various materials using advanced manufacturing processes. The cartridges have strong water adsorption capability and can filter mechanical impurities, water that has coalesced, emulsified and de-emulsified to coalesce with bigger water particulates to facilitate the next stage of filtration. 
Coalescer cartridge uses treated fiberglass or Polyethylene Terephthalate (PET) fiber as the coalescence medium, and is expertly designed for exceptional coalescing capability.

The Coalescer cartridge can reach a filtration accuracy as high as 0.1 um.

Application:

The Feature-Tec C1.0 series coalescer elements is designed to coalesce extremely fine liquid particles from natural gas, primarily lubricating oil downstream of a compressor. The flow pattern through the element is from the inside to the outside.

The C1.0 series is designed to be utilized in place of the C1.0 series where it is desired to utilize the additional surface area and ultra efficiency for solids storage and the coalescence of liquid mists.

This additional surface area reduces the differential pressure when operating at high flow rates.

Filtering Principle:

Oil, water and other fluid particles will be captured by superfine fiber inside the coalesce machine. These microfiber guides the air flow to move sinusodially, forcing solid and mist particles to collide with one another, capturing them in the process. The surface tension allows smaller particulates to coalesce into bigger ones and due to gravitational pull, they fall into the collecting reservoir below.
