Feature-Tec SAFT Automatic Filter System features rugged construction for challenging applications such as high viscosity liquid. The SAFT Automatic Filter Housing is constructed in two parts for simple opening. By loosening the quick release clamps or hexagonal bolts, the lower compartment can be removed by pulling downwards.
Medium flows from the outside to the inside of the filter element, while solids are collected on the outside of the wedge wire screen. The rotating scrapper blade automatically cleans the filter element, forcing collected solids down to the bottom collection area through liquid pressure/gravity. Collected solids are purged out manually through the bottom drain valve. The motorized Self-Cleaning SAS Automatic Filter System provides continuous solids removal from fluid piping processes that require uninterrupted flow.
