String Wound Filter CartridgeWound Filter Cartridge is made from fibre wound around a porous framework, after carding & spinning into roving they are wound into cartridges with carefully controlled micron rating. From raw materials to finished products we are in control of the quality and filtration characteristics.

Feature-Tec specially designs a patented internal frame with spiral welding structure to solve the disadvantage of easily getting deformed in normal string wound cartridge so as to ensure filtration rigidity. The cellular structure with compact inside and unconsolidated outside and gradient filtration pore structure effectively avoid side leakage and traditional disadvantages in normal string wound cartridge so as to reduce pressure drop, increase pollutants holding capacity and ensure high filtering accuracy. Due to this special structure, the cartridge can effectively filter suspended micropollutants or particles from liquid or gas and is normally used for filtering liquid with low viscosity and low impurity content. It is widely applied for organic solvent and plating solution treatment in food & beverage and electronics industries, and industrial oil filtration in petrochemical, pharmaceuticals, hydraulic oil and lubricating oil industries.

  • Bleached Cotton String Wound Cartridge
    • Advantages: made of sanitary food-grade material.
    • High porosity factor and pollutants holding capacity.
    • Application examples: beverage, aromatic solvent, water treatment, photographic film, lubricant, edible oil and pharmaceuticals.
  • Fiber Glass Wound Cartridge
    • Advantages: resistant to temperature > 300°C and suitability for high temperature medium.
    • Strong chemical compatibility and suitability for various filtration environments.
    • Application examples: conduction oil and high temperature flux.
  • Nylon String Wound Cartridge
    • Advantages: strong chemical compatibility and capability of filtering various organic solvents.
    • Application examples: wastewater, organic solvent.

Note: the measured cartridge length is 250mm, pressure difference is 0.02 MPa, tested medium is clean water and temperature is room temperature. Use these parameters to deduce flow rate of other cartridges.
