Feature-Tec’s latest innovation is an activated carbon filter bag with activated carbon. It has a strong absorbency on microbes and due to the tortuous path produced by the fibrous structure, it creates a prolonged contact time of the fluid for improved adsorption and filtration.
Activated carbon fibres offer up to 10x the adsorption area compared to standard granular carbon, effectively reducing chlorine, eliminating harmful biological matter, germs, odours, asbestos and heavy metals such as mercury and lead. Through absorption and filtration, it can also eliminate cyanide and retain benzene, methyl alcohol, minerals, precious metals, VOC and BTEX. Activated carbon filter bags are widely used in automobile, electronics, semiconductor, fiber, petrochemical, rubber and pharmaceutical industries.
